The author will share selected readings from When a Loved One Is Dying and lead a compassionate conversation about caregiving, connection, and navigating the health care system when someone has a serious or end-of-life illness. Valley Neighbors is a community non-profit organization offering volunteer services and programs to residents age 60 and over who wish to continue living independent, engaged lives in their homes and communities.  Their goal is for residents be able to continue living in their current homes, thanks to a little neighborly help.
