The author will meet with an interdisciplinary group of students and faculty and lead a compassionate conversation about advanced medical decision making, palliative care and hospice. She will read excerpts from her book, When a Loved One Is Dying, and facilitate a discussion about caring for people with a serious or end-of-life illness. A Q&A and book sale/signing will follow. This program is presented by the Nursing Department.
